Double-decker bus veers off road in Fife as high winds and rain batter country

A double-decker bus has veered off a road in Fife and into a grass verge as rain and high wind batters the country.Cops were called to the A917 near the village of Kingsbarns, Fife, at around 12pm on Saturday, November 6.

In a photo, shared by Fife Jammer Locations, the bus can be seen in the grass on the road verge. The vehicle's lights are also off after it appears the bus has been evacuated.Police confirmed they had attended the incident.

The road has not been blocked by the accident, with traffic still moving in both lanes.It's understood no one was injured in the incident.

It comes as Scotland warned to prepare for gusts of up to 80mph as the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning. Met Office forecasters have warned of gusts
