Horror fire engulfs flat in Scots high rise as woman rushed to hospital and block evacuated

A woman has been rushed to hospital after a blaze engulfed a Scots flat.Fire crews raced to the inferno at Dunbeth North Court in Coatbridge at around 2:45am in the early hours of Sunday, November 14.

The fire had broken out on the 12th floor of the multi-storey block of flats.Nine fire engines were called to the scene as crews battled to bring the huge blaze under control.

One woman was rushed to hospital with suspected smoke inhalation.
