Three-month freedom passes for those who have recovered from coronavirus could allow Brits to resume normal life, including going to football matches and music gigs.

After self-isolating for 14 days, recovered patients would be covered for a proposed 90-day window to do whatever they want, Downing Street adviser Sir John Bell has said.

The University of Oxford professor urged the Commons Science Committee to implement the policy in order to "reopen society", allowing for key sectors to recover.

This could include getting people back into football stadiums which have been empty since March, as well as music gigs and allow the ailing events industry to get on the road to recovery.
