A couple who spent an astonishing amount of money renovating their garden have been forced to turn it back into the wasteland that it once was.
Adam and Barbara Keatinge from Livingstone, Scotland, purchased the land adjacent to their home last year with plans to use it as a garden for their four children - but the work came with a hefty price tag.
After putting up a fence, and doing some much-needed landscaping, the garden was complete, £22,000 later reported Daily Record.
With the work being completed just in time for summer, they were thrilled. Until West Lothian council told them they would have to return it to its former state.
