A councillor has issued an apology after a 'grotesque' image of the Liverpool bomb attack featuring Jeremy Corbyn appeared on his Twitter account.

Conservative councillor Paul Nickerson has now deleted what he has described as a 'political tweet', showcasing a superimposed Jeremy Corbyn holding a poppy wreath in front of the burning taxi which exploded outside Liverpool Women's Hospital, killing an alleged terror suspect.
