Jeremy Corbyn visited climate activists for a tour of the COP26 squat they are running in Glasgow. The former Labour leader was pictured on Thursday at the Baile Hoose lodgings, a former homeless shelter in the city’s Tradeston area.
The activists running Baile Hoose took over part of Glasgow City Council’s derelict Hamish Allan Centre earlier this month to give COP26 campaigners somewhere safe to stay if they could not afford pricey accommodation during the summit.A tweet from the group on Thursday evening read: “Lovely to welcome @jeremycorbyn to Baile Hoose.
