A Kilmarnock sheltered housing development was on lockdown yesterday amid coronavirus fears. Concern was sparked at a Hanover Scotland facility in the town after a resident started to feel unwell having recently returned from south-east Asia.The individual was taken to hospital for tests and residents at the development were ordered to stay in their homes until today as a precautionary measure.
The Kilmarnock Standard is not naming the housing complex at the centre of the lockdown to protect the person’s identity. Hanover has five sites in Kilmarnock.
