The number of people who have died in hospitals after contracting the coronavirus in Scotland has risen to 1332, it has been announced today.That is an increase of 70 from yesterday.
In the Ayrshire and Arran region another 17 people have tested positive for coronavirus.The confirmation means that the total number of confirmed people with the deadly virus in the region has risen to 738.
Data released by the Scottish Government also shows 112 residents are in hospital in the region, with five of those currently in intensive care.A total of 10,721 people have now tested positive in Scotland - a daily rise of 200.In this country 114 patients who tested positive were in intensive care last night.So far 51,499 tests have been conducted in
