Celtic fan Rod Stewart spotted serving pints in Glasgow pub after Rangers draw

Rod Stewart was spotted behind the bar of a Glasgow pub after Sunday’s Old Firm clash.The Celtic mega-fan watched his side draw 1-1 to Rangers at Celtic Park earlier in the day before choosing to play the role of bartender at a pub.

The 77-year-old popped into The Dirty Duchess on Argyle Street, but it wasn’t the pop icon doing the drinking.Instead, Stewart was snapped having a chat with a customer from behind the bar in a photo uploaded on the pub’s social media page.

And it appeared he was there to give a helping hand as he stood beside a freshly poured pint of lager and a Guinness. The Dirty Duchess team posted on their Facebook page: "Great to have spare bartender Rod ‘the mod’ Stewart tonight!"Fans were thrilled to see Rod at their local, with one writing: "Good old Rod".It came just days after the Maggie May singer was spotted at Murphy’s, an Irish bar in the city centre.Stewart’s favourites Celtic inched one step closer to their 52nd Scottish title despite being held to a draw by Rangers.

Celtic took the lead courtesy of Jota’s close-ranged finish, before Fashion Sakala slotted the ball past Joe Hart 67 minutes in to equalise.Ange Postecoglou's side remain six points clear with just three games remaining.
