cricket club has come up with a revolutionary new tactic by creating a women's Tinder account in order to attract new players.

Englefield Green Cricket Club, based in Surrey, decided to have fun with the popular app which is universally used for finding the perfect love match.More common methods of advertising involve putting up flyers, placing an advertisement in the local paper, or utilising social media platforms.

But the amateur club have opted to go down a rather unique route as they endeavour to expand their team. On the account, the club has posed as a 36-year-old female and the account profile picture is a pint of lager, with a match going on in the background.

The short bio read: “George, 36, looking for new players for Englefield cricket club." They opted to leave their contact details, under "Email: egcchub@gmail.com.
