Love Island reveals first look at sexy singletons in racy trailer ahead of 2022 series

Love Island has dropped its official first look at its 2022 contestants.The channel has released a new video highlighting the singleton's backgrounds.From a paramedic to a fishmonger, the upcoming reality stars are raring to go and get things going in the villa.The 2022 series will be hosted by Laura Whitmore and will see a shakeup to the iconic villa.In the new clip, all of the singletons can be seen flexing either their talent or occupation.This year's lineup also features Gemma Owen, who is famous footballer Michael Owen's daughter, and could be seen jumping off a hose in the video.The ex-England striker, 42, revealed that this feels like his "worst nightmare" with his 19-year-old daughter going on the show.Michael said: “I have no doubts that she will make us all proud.“It’s probably a father’s worst nightmare, but whatever she wants to do you’ve got to be supportive.”Michael also shares three other children with his childhood sweetheart Louise Bonsall.

Along with Gemma, the couple share 16-year-old son James and daughters Emily, 15, and 11-year-old Jessica.Michael continued: "It’s been different without her in the house.“I’ve got other kids and my wife and it’s been quite tough because she’s had to switch her phone off and we’ve had no contact for a couple of weeks so that’s been the hard bit."Talking about the show, Michael added: “I’ve heard a lot about it.“I think old, grumpy men like me will always have an opinion on it because I don’t watch it and you just hear the snippets, but she assures me that it’s not as bad as I think."The new series will kick off on Monday 6th June and will be available to watch on ITV2 and the ITV Hub..
