Jamal Edwards was an extremely influential figure in the music industry having founded SBTV, a platform specifically for emerging artists, back in 2006. The star's work saw him help launch the careers of artists including Ed Sheeran and Jessie J, and he went on to pen his own book, become a director, and more. News of Jamal's passing broke on 2 February 2022, with the talented music pioneer passing away unexpectedly at the age of 31.
