Big Brother’s Pete Bennett says he’s still asked by fans to say ‘w****r’ after being first reality star with Tourette’s

PETE Bennett won the hearts of the nation when he arrived in the Big Brother house back in 2006. The former housemate and winner of the show, 38, was also the first ever reality star with Tourette's and today has revealed that fans still ask him to say "w****er" when they see him.

Tourette's is a neurological condition which causes involuntary movements and noises called tics - and in some people it causes them to swear.

The condition is far more common than most people realise - affecting around one in every 100 people. Through no fault of his own, Pete became known for his language in the house and the use of the word "w****er".
