Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

Devastated Loose Women star Brenda Edwards says son Jamal died after 'sudden illness'

Loose Women panellist Brenda Edwards has revealed her son Jamal Edwards died after a "sudden illness".The star has said she is "completely devastated" following the sudden death of her son.The TV personality and former X Factor star paid an emotional tribute to the 31-year-old who was the founder of the online urban music platform SB.TV.On Monday morning's Good Morning Britain, presenter Susanna Reid read a statement from Brenda which said: "It is with deepest heartache that I confirm that my beautiful son Jamal Edwards passed away yesterday morning after a sudden illness."Myself, his sister and the rest of his family and friends are completely devastated.

He was the centre of our world."The TV personality also went on to thank those who have shared their love and support through her turbulent time.Susanna continued to read: "As we come to terms with the passing we ask for privacy to grieve this unimaginable loss."I would like to thank everyone for their messages of love and support."Jamal was an inspiration to myself and so many.

Our love for him lives on, his legacy lives on. Long live Jamal Edwards MBE, MBA and PHD."ITV's North American correspondent Noel Phillips also shared his thoughts on the tragic news while on GMB.He said: "He was a pioneering figure in Black British culture and music in particular and hip hop, a trailblazer in fact.""This is a man who came up in a musical household and used that passion for music to give artists and so many young people a platform which they never had."And let’s not forget, these are artists who would never get played on mainstream radio, but Jamal launched SBTV."Jamal first rose to fame when he created the YouTube channel SBTV, which helped to launch the careers of several UK.
