Anthony Crolla has been left heartbroken after his amateur gym was burned down in the early hours of Sunday. The former WBA lightweight champion has been coaching at Fox ABC since he retired from the ring earlier this year.
But the boxing club near Oldham was housed in a mill which went on fire over the weekend. Firefighters were still tackling the blaze on Morton Street in the Failsworth area of Manchester on Sunday afternoon.
Crolla trained with Fox ABC as an amateur and returned to the club as a coach last year just before he hung up the gloves following his win over Frank Urquiaga in November.
