Ander Herrera has explained why he made a U-turn on his Manchester United career and ended up leaving the club last year. Herrera was a key player for United after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge in December 2018 but agreed to join Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer at the end of the 2018-19 season.
The Basque midfielder, a Louis van Gaal signing from Athletic Bilbao in 2014, suggested disagreements between himself and the United board were behind his decision to leave.
