An ambulance vehicle and a car were left badly damaged after a crash on the Alan Turing Way. The crash happened at around 12.15am this morning (Thursday).
Police were called to the scene after a car and a North West Ambulance Service rapid response vehicle, which was responding to an emergency, collided.

No arrests were made. Pictures taken at the scene this morning showed both vehicles badly smashed up. One side of the ambulance vehicle was badly damaged.
