However viewers have been warned that the upcoming third season will be the 'most heart breaking' yet. The former Top Gear star will once again be joined by long-term girlfriend Lisa Hogan and farmers Charlie Ireland and Gerald Cooper.

Clarkson expands his offerings, adding pigs, goats and even growing mushrooms in a desperate attempt to increase income. But Clarkson is devastated when he realises he needs to send half of his cows away in order to make room for the new pigs - including the much-loved Pepper.
