While appearing on "Watch What Happens Live" on Thursday, showrunner Andy Cohen discussed the controversy surrounding Philbin, saying that Philbin was never invited back to the show after he left, which Ripa addressed in her book, "Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories." The actress recently recalled how her character Samantha hired Maddy (Alexa Demie) as a babysitter and then has the teen unzip her dress in the second season episode, which aired in January. According to the 41-year-old, creator Sam Levinson originally wrote a more risqué scene than the one viewers saw. "[Levinson] thought it would be more interesting if my dress fell to the ground," Kelly told Vanity Fair.

Ricky Schroder has called upon American truckers to "shut down" Washington over COVID-19 restrictions. Former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump gave fans an update on her health after suffering a broken leg in a horseback riding incident. Vanderpump, 61, shared photos of flowers she had received while she recovers Sunday on Instagram.  The reality TV star had surgery after fracturing her leg in four places. "Thank you for all the well wishes and beautiful flowers, I am doing much better after surgery!" she wrote in the caption.

Actor Thomas Jefferson Byrd has died at the age of 70 in Atlanta, Ga. The death is the result of an apparent shooting, the Atlanta Police Department told Fox News in a statement.
