A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed by a woman in Bury. Police and paramedics were called to the scene on Limefield Brow as the incident unfolded at around 8.30am yesterday morning (Tuesday).

A man, aged in his 40s, was stabbed by a woman, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police confirmed. He was taken to hospital from the scene, though his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing.

No arrests have been made at this stage and an investigation is ongoing. In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "At around 8.30am this morning (Tuesday 24 September 2024), we were called to reports of a stabbing on Limefield Brow in Bury.
