Conlon added that he would attack Danielle constantly.Danielle tried to get a divorce back in 2018 but this was rejected by the court because Michael had not been properly served with the papers.

A friend of Michael's claims he joked that Danielle "is crazy but as long as I hide the steak knives everything will be fine."Conlon says that Michael pushed Danielle down and choked her on the night of the killing. "She reaches into a drawer; she grabs a knife; she stabs him one time; he is stunned; he releases her; and she runs to the bathroom," Conlon said. But prosecutors claim that Danielle isn't telling the truth as she initially told the police that Michael had a heart attack. She then said that he had stabbed himself.
