The proposed £300m deal is off the table after Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund pulled out following months of uncertainty.The bid has been with the Premier League in recent weeks as the outcome of the owner's and director's test was awaited.But with no end in sight, the bidders have decided to end their interest in the north east outfit.In a statement released today, the consortium said: "With a deep appreciation for the Newcastle community and the significance of its football club, we have come to the decision to withdraw our interest in acquiring Newcastle United Football Club."We do so with regret, as we were excited and fully committed to.
