Man City's new signing Ferran Torres has admitted he wanted to stay with Valencia but was forced out of the club. The 20-year-old completed his £20.8million switch to The Etihad on Tuesday on a five-year deal.
Torres has spent the whole of his career rising through the ranks at boyhood club Valencia, who finished ninth in the La Liga table this season.
And he revealed that leaving was never part of his original thought process, until he felt unwanted at Valencia after they rejected his contract demands.
