West Lothian’s cricketers are able to get back in action from Monday after Cricket Scotland announced that clubs could return to training.Fauldhouse, Linlithgow and Livingston are now able to use club facilities to run small group training sessions outside.
Groups are restricted to three households and a maximum of eight players.Games could return from August 1 but any fixtures will be friendlies after the East of Scotland Cricket Association took the decision to cancel the 2020 season.Livingston Cricket Club secretary Paul Burgess said: “It’s good news that we’re able to get out there again, although there’s still plenty of restrictions in place.“We’ll be trying our best to get as much as possible up and running from Monday.”.
