Grey's Anatomy cast now: Where are they now from Golden Globe win to TV success
manchestereveningnews.co.ukIt's hard to believe it's been nearly 20 years since Grey's Anatomy first debuted on TV. The medical series premiered on March 27, 2005, on ABC and focused on the lives of interns and staff at the fictional Seattle Grace Hospital.
Created by Shonda Rhimes, the drama focussed on Dr. Meredith Grey documenting her journey from surgical intern to fully qualified doctor to the hospital's chief of general surgery.
The series also focused on her fellow interns and their respective career paths and sad demises. The show wasn't without controversy - executive producer/writer Elisabeth Finch lied after she survived a rare form of bone cancer, lost a kidney and even decided to have an abortion because of treatment.
Like the name of the hospital, the cast has changed numerous times over the years, but there are three cast members who remain from the debut season.
