Dillian Whyte has spoken out for the first time since his defeat to Tyson Fury and admitted both men were on edge during the fight.Whyte held his own for five rounds against Fury but came unstuck midway through the sixth following a heavy right uppercut from the Gypsy King.
Whyte got back to his feet within the count, but the referee called a halt to the contest as the Body Snatcher began to stagger around the ring.
Victory for Fury ensured he retained his Ring Magazine belt as Whyte fell short on his first attempt at a world title. His time will come again, but the 34-year-old is not down-heartened despite his defeat.
Speaking for the first time since the bout, Whyte told the BBC: "I don’t think there was a lot in the fight, it was a close fight.
