A prisoner trapped by a controversial sentence fears for his life as coronavirus sweeps through the UK's jails. Danny Weatherson, from Scotswood, Newcastle, has been locked up for 15 years, currently at HMP Northumberland in Acklington.
A judge originally recommended that the 31-year-old, who is bipolar, serve just over 15 months for two attempted robberies before applying for parole.
