The daughter of a disabled Scots pensioner claims he was ‘frogmarched’ from a musical theatre after being kicked out for ‘clapping and singing’.

Hazel Robertson and her dad Jim Clelland bought tickets to the afternoon performance of Bat Out of Hell at the Edinburgh Playhouse on Saturday, February 12.

The 50-year-old said that moments after the show began, they noticed ushers telling various members of the public to ‘calm down’ and to stop clapping.

Hazel, from Bathgate, West Lothian, said she was personally told off twice for singing along to herself before she spotted a group of women being kicked out by security.
