Victoria Derbyshire has revealed she would love to have another baby with her husband Mark Sandell as she discussed the ups and downs of motherhood.
The Newsnight presenter, who has two sons Ollie, 20, and Joe, 17, reminisced about the feeling of having a newborn and insisted the feelings of broodiness hadn't left her. "I feel like, obviously I can't now, I'm in my 50s and I haven't had a period since chemotherapy, [but] I feel like I could have a baby now, isn't that mad?
I love being the mum of a newborn," she disclosed. The 56-year-old broadcaster delved into memories of conceiving and raising her sons, including a poignant memory of her first son's birth following a devastating miscarriage.
Victoria admits she still ponders over what might have been over 20 years later, but has found solace in conversations with her sons about the loss.
