ViacomCBS CEO Bob Bakish said the company anticipates its U.S. employees will have the option of returning to their offices starting after the July 4th weekend, at the earliest.With the virus in retreat and vaccines ramping up, companies have begun to put a timeline on restarting in person.
In a memo to staffers Thursday, Bakish called this an “initial phase of our return” and said it is expected to last at least a few months and “will be limited, optional and completely voluntary.”The company will continue to operate under strict safety criteria, including testing, mandatory mask wearing and social distancing.Deadline reported earlier today that WarnerMedia employees have been notified that a slow return is being eyed for their offices
