Brits have been warned to enjoy Monday's sunny weather while they can before gale force winds hit the country. In a brief respite from Storm Ellen, the new week will beginning with mostly bright conditions and highs of 21C in parts of the south after some morning rain.
While not reaching the record breaking 37C highs of July, much of the UK will see blue skies and pleasant conditions - though they won't last for very long.
