The Met Office has issued yellow warnings as a 700 mile-wide 70mph 'Canadian low pressure vortex' batters the country. Gusts of up to 60mph are expected in England and Wales on Tuesday and Wednesday.
MeteoGroup said the storm has potential to be named and warned of gusts over 60mph, with more parts hit by severe winds than during Storm Ellen.
The Environment Agency has also warned of more floods. High temperatures are expected to be between 16C and 21C next week. The Met Office also forecast frost chilling the Bank Holiday weekend - mainly in the North.
