Innovative Artists Entertainment has received a strategic investment from Los Angeles-based private equity firm Coral Tree Partners. Coral Tree takes a minority stake in the agency, which will continue to be led by Innovative Founder and CEO Scott Harris and his management team. The investment from Coral Tree will help accelerate the Innovative Artists Entertainment’s expansion by enhancing the resources to support its agents and a growing roster of talent.

Shawn Mendes has announced a series of “special” intimate theatre shows for his upcoming album ‘Shawn‘.Following the release of his brand new single ‘Isn’t That Enough‘, the Canadian singer took to Instagram to reveal the news.“For my friends and family,” he captioned the video, continuing in the comments: “I wanted the first shows back to be special and to play this album for you live in the places we recorded it.“I’ve never played an album top to bottom before but it’s already one of my favourite shows I’ve ever rehearsed. I love you guys, the band and I can’t wait to see you! (sic).”Mendes will stop off in London and Woodstock, NY this August, with following dates in Los Angeles, Brooklyn and more.

The trio recently got on the market following the shutdown of A3 where they helped reestablish a literary division, with Patman serving as head of Television Content.

Jaden Thompson Scott Kenyon, a longtime agent at Innovative Artists, died suddenly on February 15. He was 39. Kenyon’s death was confirmed by Innovative Artists.

Camila Cabello has released her new collaboration with Ed Sheeran – you can listen to ‘Bam Bam’ below.First announced last month, the singer/songwriter then shared a snippet of the track earlier this week (February 28).Cabello has now released ‘Bam Bam’, which was produced by Ricky Reed, Edgar Barrera and Cheche Alara and written by Cabello, Sheeran and Reed.The track is Cabello’s first new music release of 2022 and is the latest preview of her forthcoming new album ‘Familia’, which is set for release on April 8.The video for ‘Bam Bam’ has also been released this afternoon (March 4), which was directed by Mia Barnes in collaboration with Dave Meyers – you can watch the colourful clip below.Speaking to Apple Music’s Zane Lowe this week, Cabello said of ‘Bam Bam’: “I wanted to make a song that had English words, but gives me that same feeling that a lot of these Latin songs give us.
