Dense fog is cloaking parts of Britain this morning with the Met Office issuing a weather warning urging motorists to take extra caution.
Overnight into Friday temperatures plummeted below zero as November's big freeze continues amid fears winter is coming early - while scattered showers will continue over the weekend.
Southern England, including London, is likely to remain thick with fog until mid-morning, as are large swathes of the north-east from Nottingham up to Newcastle.
The Environment Agency continues to issue warnings about flooding, with three in place for today, alongside 13 alerts - following days of rain earlier in the week.
