Snow and gales of up to 70mph are set to hit parts of the UK on Saturday as a miserable week of weather comes to a close. Before that Brits can expect a Friday washout, with downpours moving across most of the country throughout the day.
The Met Office is warning strong winds are then expected in parts of Scotland tomorrow morning, along with snow in some areas.
It all comes after a week that has seen multiple weather warnings for heavy rain and strong winds, as well as a cold snap on Thursday with temperatures plunging to just 1C.
