Tyron Woodley insists he will be fighting this weekend, despite his showdown with Leon Edwards falling through. The former welterweight king was scheduled to face the in-form Edwards on Saturday night in the main event of UFC Fight Night 171 at London's O2 Arena.
Woodley's clash with the Birmingham brawler fell through last Sunday after the UFC decided to uproot the entire card due to travel restrictions imposed by the United States government following the coronavirus outbreak.
The St. Louis slugger has yet to be matched up with a new opponent but is adamant he'll still be in action this weekend. "I’m fighting on Saturday," Woodley said. "Who I’m fighting, I don’t know.
