Coronation Street’s Peter Barlow and Stu link ‘exposed’ by fans as they twig connection
Coronation Street fans are sure they’ve unearthed a huge hidden link between Peter Barlow and Stu Carpenter in what could be a big twist in the tale. The pair haven’t yet shared a scene on-screen, and fans think they might actually know each other already, having crossed paths at various points in their lives. Not only have Peter and Stu both served time in prison - with Stu currently behind bars for breaching the peace and his parole conditions - but they’ve both been active members of the Navy. CBA with Corrie keeping them apart when they could be besties urgh,” a second posted.Another fan then followed up: “I want them to be talking in the Rovers or something and realise they served together.”Some fans even think something more sinister could be afoot, as Stu’s ex-wife shares the same name as Peter’s - Lucy.Lucy Barlow died of breast cancer off-screen after moving to Australia - but as she was never seen again on the cobbles, could it be that she faked her death and remarried, this time to Stu?Some fans certainly think so, and reckon Stu could be out for revenge on Peter, as one posted to social media: “If he was in the Navy could it be Peter that he is after? After all one of Peters wives (Simon’s mum) was called Lucy.”Another agreed: “I just find it weird that Peter and Stu served in the Navy together, were in prison probs at the same time, and both have exes called Lucy… #Corrie.”For more of the latest showbiz news from Daily Star,

Coronation Street’s Stu ‘in danger’ as fans spot rival prisoner’s sinister actions
Coronation Street favourite Stu Carpenter could be in danger even behind bars, as fans are sure they’ve spotted a fellow inmate who poses a huge threat to him.Stu was arrested after attempting to convince Yasmeen Metcalfe he isn’t a murderer after serving 27 years in prison, but trapping Yasmeen in her home probably wasn’t the best route to go down.He was imprisoned for breach of the peace by Craig, while breach of his parole meant he ended up behind bars yet again.
