Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has seemingly become known over the years for his extravagant arrival at a number of major annual horse racing events and so this year was no different when the Cheltenham Festival took place earlier this week.
The actor, famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, ditched the cobbles and his character's mechanic overalls for a sharp suit as he attended the event.
The 40-year-old started his day by getting picked up in his own helicopter and he wasn't alone as he was joined by former England manager, Sam Allardyce.
Posing in the grey three-piece outfit in front of his ride to the racecourse, Alan wrote on Instagram: "Cheltenham 2024. Let’s go," before a second post showed who he made the trip with. Quick to join in the cheeky joke, Alan replied: "It's funny because it’s true," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis.
