Coronation Street fans are certain a beloved member of the Platt family may meet a tragic end in the near future.In the new year, the cobbles will be shaken by a shocking house fire, and residents near the soap's set have been warned about the filming of a dramatic fire stunt.

They've been advised to expect loud explosions and fire effects, but reassured not to panic.The notice also revealed that the show will recreate a house fire, complete with a triggered explosion.
