Champions League final. The match is due to be played at the Gazprom Arena in St Petersburg on May 28, but that is looking increasingly unlikely after Russian president Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale invasion of their neighbouring country.European football's governing body has been urged to move it elsewhere and they now look set to do so.Their executive committee will meet to discuss the issue on Friday and it is reported they will confirm Russia will be stripped of the final.A UEFA statement read: "Following the evolution of the situation between Russia and Ukraine in the last 24 hours, the UEFA President has decided to call an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee for Friday 25 February at 10:00 CET, in order to evaluate the situation and take all necessary decisions."Further communication will be made after the meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee."They are also set to determine the venues for the upcoming World Cup play-offs between Russia and Sweden and Scotland and Ukraine.Where would you like to see the final held?

Let us know in the comments section. It was earlier revealed that West Ham and Tottenham have both put themselves forward to be the new hosts of the Champions League climax. The London Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Stadium would each offer UEFA 60k-plus capacity venues. They also suit UEFA's other main criteria which are being in a major European city with good transport links, infrastructure and accommodation. However, Wembley, which is due to host the 2024 final, looks less likely as an alternative with EFL play-offs scheduled for the same weekend in May.While the decision to move it looks likely to be made before the weekend, it may be some time before the new hosts are decided.
