Two people have been arrested after a man was stabbed in a street in Bury this morning (November 20). Officers were called to Mersey Drive in Whitefield at around 7am following reports of a stabbing.

A 21-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have both been arrested on suspicion of assault. Police say the incident is believed to be isolated at this time.
