Manchester City suffered two more injury scares as they ended their Champions League group stage with a 2-1 defeat at RB Leipzig.
The Blues lost Kyle Walker to a let red card which means he will miss the first leg of the last 16 tie in February - and possibly the second leg too, depending on how the offence is viewed by Uefa's disciplinary body.
But they also saw Phil Foden taken off at half-time and Nathan Ake leave the field late in the game with a back injury. Having left Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Joao Cancelo at home in Manchester for some much-needed rest, Guardiola also put Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte - his apparent first-choice centre backs - on the bench.
