Tragic kid who died from brain cancer at the heart of paramedic's gruelling West Highland Way charity drive

A paramedic is embarking on the gruelling West Highland Way to raise funds for her colleague’s charity, which will see a sensory bus travel around Ayrshire benefitting those with additional support needs.

Lisa Anderson, 50, from Troon, will begin the challenging 96-mile walk tomorrow to raise funds for Aoife’s Sensory Bus. Aoife’s Sensory Bus was set up by parents Michael and Evelyn Kidd, of Monkton, after their six-year-old daughter Aoife passed away in December 2019 from brain cancer.
