SAG Award Nominations Offer First Look at Voters’ Thoughts

While other ceremonies have usually taken place prior to the SAG Awards — traditionally both Critics Choice Awards and Golden Globes go first, though this year Critics Choice have been delayed — those groups are not the Oscar voting body.
Of the estimated 9,300 Oscar voters, 1,336 are in the actors branch, making it the largest. And it stands to reason that they’re also SAG Awards voters.
