This Morning fans were left fuming as temporary host Josie Gibson was relegated to hosting the competition segment dressed as a dog.With Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary hosting from the studio, Josie was out in public for the Dosh On Your Doorstep portion of the show, which saw her don a dog costume - complete with a tail - and head out into the streets.Josie's grey dog onesie included a huge gold tag with her name on and a red collar which she wore around her neck to treat the public to some self-professed "doggy-style" games.And when it was time for the games to begin, Josie competed in a Crufts-style assault course, which saw the homeowners take her around metal posts by a lead in order to scoop £500.Although all three presenters were left in hysterics by the segment, especially when Josie was presented with a can of dog food, viewers at home were left with a rather more sour taste - especially after Josie had done a stellar job filling in for Alison during her absence.Josie has presented the programme alongside Dermot on various occasions during staff absences.Taking to Twitter, one fan questioned: "@thismorning Whose idea was it to dress Josie in a dominatrix collar and lead?"As someone else fumed: "Josie is wasted doing the doorstep thing.

Makes me laugh every time she’s on the screen," another fan followed up.As a fourth posted: "Josie deserves better."It comes as many fans called for Josie to be granted a permanent hosting position on the ITV show, after she stepped in for Holly Willoughby during her period of illness.She was drafted in to sit alongside Phillip Schofield last year, and a legion of fans soon streamed to social.
