The River Mersey... the place where 'trolleys go to die'. One man has made it is mission to clean-up a stretch of the river in Stockport after spotting scores of stricken Tesco shopping carts over the summer.
He claims that at times, he's seen up to 11 trolleys in the water, with some adorned with Tesco branding.
