Loose Women. The TV star, 75, used the term as she and her fellow panellists on the ITV show were talking about ageing and their bodies.Janet was saying that, looking at her own body, she sometimes thought her feet looked a bit bony.Moving on to her legs, she said they didn't look exactly as they used to when she was younger but that they weren't "fat".The rest of the panel clammed up and Janet asked: "Am I not allowed to say that now?""No!" they replied.Janet then exclaimed that it was a "minefield" these days. The journalist is known for being outspoken and recently sparked a backlash by saying women were better able to cope with divorce than men.Janet made the remarks during a discussion on Loose Women about new research that suggested that men were often more emotionally attached in their marriages than women. The star said it might be easier for women to handle divorce as they were better at "multi-tasking" and that their lives had prepared them for it a bit more.Janet - who has been divorced four times herself - said: "So these are people in their 40s getting divorced. "By then women have gone through jobs, kids, they have put up with this bloke...

if women decide to move on they are going to shrink it down to something else to deal with."It's not going to be easy, it's not going to be nice. "But they will just cope with it."Whereas in my experience men, it represents for a lot of men, contrary to what you might expect, men can't cope, they really can't cope."Loose Women airs weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV.
