Slayer’s Kerry King has announced his first ever solo headline tour of North America, to take place in January and February 2025.The guitarist has also shared a new video for ‘Where I Reign’, taken from his debut solo album ‘From Hell I Rise’, which was released in May. Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover, has cancelled his upcoming North American, UK and European tour dates to undergo surgery.Glover announced the colossal tour in May, which was set to make stops in Los Angeles, Seattle and Chicago, before heading to Europe for shows in Milan, Copenhagen, Paris, London and more.The tour kicked off on August 11 at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center, and saw Glover debut a handful of tracks live, as well as a few rarities that haven’t been performed in several years. Mötley Crüe have announced a Las Vegas residency for next year, with a run of 11 shows at Dolby Live at Park MGM in the spring – buy tickets here.The shows are set to begin on March 28 and will run through to April 19. It’s been 11 years since the glam metal icons’ last Vegas residency – they had ‘Mötley Crüe Takes On Sin City’ and ‘Evening In Hall’ in 2012 and 2013 respectively – and frontman Vince Neil said back in 2022 that a third residency was on the band’s radar.They’ll be playing on March 28 and 29, as well as April 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18 and 19.Tickets for the shows go on sale at 10am PT on October 11, and a portion of ticket proceeds will go to the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth through the band’s Giveback Initiative and Live Nation.

Gang of Four have announced their 2025 US farewell tour set to kick off next early next spring.The English post-punk band – comprised of Jon King, Hugo Burnham, David Pajo and Gail Greenwood – will be making their way across North America one last time next spring nearly 50 years after their formation.They will be performing their classic 1979 debut album ‘Entertainment!’ in its entirety as well as a handful of fan favourites and deep cuts from their discography. The tour will commence on April 20 2025 at the Crystal Ballroom in Somerville, Massachusetts.

Oasis for the cost of hosting the band’s reunion tour dates next summer.Oasis announced their return earlier this year, with a long-awaited reunion tour that will include three shows at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium on 8, 9 and 12 August 2025.Now, the council have announced they’ll be billing the band as part of a new policy which applies a 100% cost recovery to commercial events. The new regulations will come into force in the coming days – almost a year before the newly reunited Gallagher brothers play in the arena.Council leader Cammy Day said taxpayers should not “bear the costs” of the city hosting large-scale events, per BBC News.

ABBA Voyage grossed more than £100million last year, it’s been revealed.The virtual concert residency, which features digital avatars depicting the Swedish pop icons as they appeared in 1979, attracted over a million visitors in 2023, bringing in over £100m (€120m) altogether over 374 performances.This is according to documents filed in the UK with Companies House by Aniara, the company behind the shows.A total of 1,097,597 visitors attended the shows across 2023, with an occupancy rate of 97.8%. Revenue from ticket sales was £103,665,597, with a pre-tax profit of £6,065,402.
