Eddie Hearn's role in Tyson Fury vs Dillian Whyte fight clarified amid £5.6m issue
Frank Warren has reiterated that Eddie Hearn has no involvement in Dillian Whyte’s clash with Tyson Fury. And the Queensberry chief has warned Whyte he must sign the contract to face the Gypsy King by this weekend or his WBC heavyweight title shot will vanish.Warren won the purse bids to stage the bout after the WBC confirmed Whyte as Fury’s mandatory challenger. They are in discussions with Whyte’s lawyer and expect him to put pen to paper this week before the February 19 deadline.Warren said: “If he doesn’t sign he’s out. Those were the terms of the purse bid.“Why wouldn’t he sign? He’s getting a massive purse, it makes no sense for him to sign.”Whyte is expected to sign the contract but is still looking for more than the £5.6m on offer. He may refuse to do any promotion for the fight if he doesn’t get a bigger offer but it won’t come.Whyte has the chance to add a further £3.1m if he becomes the first man to beat Fury. The Body Snatcher won’t have to pay a cut to Hearn, who has promoted the majority of his professional fights.Hearn has no contract with Whyte as they always worked on a fight-by-fight basis.Warren added: “One, we’re not dealing with him, we’re dealing with Dillian Whyte’s lawyer.“He has no involvement unless we’re told otherwise.“We’ve been dealing and negotiating with his lawyer, and that’s it.“He has a lot of things to say, he said Tyson was never going to fight Deontay Wilder the first time.

A Place in the Sun since 2021 and has become a firm favourite on the show. The presenter has spoken exclusively to Express.co.uk on what he finds hard about his role and the areas of his job that are "not very glam".Lee joined the likes of Jasmine Harman, Laura Hamilton, Jonnie Irwin and Jean Johansson on the show.Express.co.uk asked Lee what he found hard on the show, with Lee's response giving an inside look to how A Place in the Sun works behind the scenes. He said: "My only issue is literally wearing the same thing every day."In the summer it gets very very hot, so when you’re wearing the same clothes for about three or four days and then you change on the last day."So, towards the end of the day, it’s not very glamorous when you’re kind of hand washing your stuff and putting it out to dry. "To stop this sometimes I buy two of each item.He continued: "But yeah, it’s really mad because I put so much effort into the way I look and I start off the show loving the outfit and then by mid week, you get to the point and you’re like ‘I’m never wearing this again’."Lee actually applied for A Place in the Sun three years prior to securing the role.He lost out to his now colleague Jean, but admitted it was his mum who made sure he didn't give up on the show.Lee said: "You know they kept me in mind and then 18 months later I got it."My mum always said that what’s meant to you won’t pass you and obviously at the time I was massively disappointed that I didn’t get it."But you kind of put a step forward and you just kind of move on doing other things at the same time."Then two years later they called me and they said, you know, we haven’t stopped thinking about you.
