Amanda Owen is known for posting updates on farm life on her social media pages.Tonight was no different as the Our Yorkshire Farm star shared her latest news, admitting she had to react quickly to stop an illness outbreak.Amanda posted a video explaining the situation to her 190,000 followers.She can be seen with her sheep as she says: “Well, the wind is blowing again.“And because I’m feeding the sheep hay, it’s irritating their eyes.“So I’m having to catch a few, they’ve got conjunctivitis.”Amanda went on to explain what she was doing to help her sheep.She continued: “It’s just temporary, all I have to do is treat them with a spray.“Now it does sting them when I spray them but usually one spray and they’re cured.“So it’s worthwhile doing,” she added.However, in another clip, Amanda showed how much her sheep hate the treatment.Alongside her video, she wrote: “The North wind doth blow, and we shall have snow….& also sore eyes.“The sheep are very unwilling patients but if not treated they can lose their sight completely.“Better to act fast when treatable than wait until it becomes more serious.”This wasn’t the only update Amanda shared tonight on Twitter.Earlier in the evening, the shepherdess gave a glimpse at how the cold weather was impacting them.She shared some snowy pictures alongside the caption: “A few wintery flakes.”Amanda also posted a sweet snap of her eldest son Reuben.He could be seen atop a horse in the images from her farm.In another photo, Reuben was also posing next to his tractor.The farmer cheekily made a pun about this, quipping: “This boy….Boy loves his horsepower.”Many of the Channel 5 star’s followers reacted to her update, sharing their thoughts.Patn7747 commented: “Terrific photo of you.
