Police issue statement over man, 26, missing in Majorca as GoFundMe donations flood in for desperate family

Police have issued a statement over a Wigan man who is missing in Majorca, with donations to a GoFundMe page set up by friends flooding in.

Benjamin Ross has not been heard from since July 10. The budding barrister from Golborne, Wigan, had travelled to the Spanish island in June to visit a friend, before extending his stay and finding temporary accommodation.

The 26-year-old later disappeared in Palma, the capital of the popular holiday destination, on July 10 after cutting contact with his mum.

He has since been reported as missing.
